So this is my very first blog post, I feel as nervous as I did my first kiss. Palms sweaty, butterflies in the stomach...or that could just be the delicious Chipotle floating around in my stomach. Anyways, I was browsing the internet when I realized there simply aren't enough tips on how to be frugal with you money without risking your health/safety/style. Most useful cheap sites are geared toward mothers and housewives, (which is great, rock on), but what about the most broke demographic out there? What about the college student? Granted, for most of us learning to live on our own is like a new born fawn learning to walk, and being cheap requires more effort than running to the store, buying what you need and getting out. That's where I come in. I believe that it is possible to be cheap, fabulous, and healthy. I believe you should not have to cut corners to live the frugal lifestyle. I believe...well I'll get off my soap box. I am that annoying friend who cringes when you purchase movie theatre candy for $4 a box. I am the one who is always wrapping up their leftovers at every restaurant, cafe, and dining hall. But hey, getting a bang for your buck is what I am all about. And I'll try to pour every pearl of knowledge I have about being cheap into this blog until my fingers fall off from typing. Because I swear, if I see one more person blow four bucks on some Snow-Caps my head darn near might explode.
